re power frequency

what is impulse power frequency voltage in the cas of MCB? some one can help me.

	Di-electric tests are to be conducted on every type of switchgear product including MCB. If the manufacturer has not declared any impulse test voltage U_imp, power frequency dielectric tests are done at a specified voltage. Otherwise impulse tests are done. i have not heard of "impulse power frequency voltage" __________________ Nothing worthwhile can ever be taught, it can only be learnt.
