Hitachi Frequency Drive WJ200 EasySequence Problem

02/18/2011 7:43 AM

Hello,

I have an application for a Hitachi WJ200 frequency drive.

Inside this frequency drive there is a little PLC, that can be programmed with EzSQ software.

Does any one know where to find the EzSQ software programming tool ?

I contacted Hitachi twice, they send me a file, but for a strange reason, my server won't let this file get through. It gives the following message : Some parts of this message were removed because they violated your mail server's policies.

Who knows a solution ?

The problem is the mail server. Some things you might try:

* Do you have a friend who has a different mail server--maybe Hitachi can mail it to her and give you a copy via floppy / CD / pendrive / ...

* Explain the problem to Hitachi, see if they will mail you a disk

* Investigate the mail server problem in more detail--maybe its because the file is above some size limit (which implies that the file could be split into multiple smaller files to be sent to you)

* Is there a local Hitachi dealer that can download the file and put it on disk for you?

* (almost forgot this one, it's usually the easiest for me) Is there a website (or ftp site) from which you can download the file without going through email--do some googling and ask Hitachi.

I may have found the same document they are trying to send you. Mine only partially opens, and indicates the trouble is the Japanese text cannot be converted.

You might try this link... I have not tried it, but it looks promising.

Not working... the link I posted, or the site does not work?

I can follow it. I drilled down to this Hitachi site: http://search.hitachi.co.jp/sitesearch/HIES-E?SITE=HIES-E&LANG=EN&PL=EN&SET=1&SC=HIES&Q=EzSQ

With some luck, this will work.

Hitachi are know for such difficulties when it comes to support.

It may sound a little extreme, but you may need to replace that drive with another brand (Siemens?) unless the application it is running is not critical.
