Treatment of drinking water

Good morning, Am trying to ascertain whether trichloro-s-triazinetrione can be used in water treatment, i collect rain water for all use, and have a treated carbon filter on the drinking water tap. Is it safe or is there another chlorine tablet that i should use. Thanks in advance for all help Charles
