Please tell me how to check ADC0804 output without interfacing micro controller.i have read the datasheet but i didnt undrerstand.please post me the connections to check the output of ADC without microcontroller.

Page 23 of the data sheet, Section 3.0 "Testing the A/D Converter" has a full description of how to test this A/D. Page 24 has "Figure 9, Basic A/D Tester" which shows all the connections to properly test this A/D without a microprocessor. The only parts needed are a few capacitors, a switch, a power supply, and a handful of LED's to display the data word of the digital outputs. If this write-up and diagram are beyond your understanding, then I don't think you will be able to test the A/D.
