671 Detroit Relocating the Oil Filter

03/20/2011 1:14 AM

I have a 671 Detroit powering my Tug. The oil filter is in the worst place imaginable for changing. Its horrizontal an difficult to access and spills oil everywhere. Is there a component that can be bolted on to cover the exixting mount and has a port to pipe-in a hose to feed the new filter from a different location? For some reason I can not post a photo. (the instructions show up outside of my screen and the scroll bar disappears)

Maybe when you convert, you can go to a spin-on type.

Check the bottom of page 248:

OIL SYSTEMS & ACCESSORIES 24 7 OIL FILTERS

If you can't find it here, try Summit Racing(not an endorsement)
