Medical Device ISO Standard 13485:2003

04/10/2007 9:33 AM

Hello,

Does anyone know where I could reference a copy of ISO 13485:2003 used in the medical device insdustry? The local university library does not have a copy and the web only provides a summary of the points. Unfortunately, I do not have the $895 to purchase a copy.

I don't know if it works where you are but in the UK we have an inter-library lending system. Some libraries (often in universities) hold copies of every BS & ISO standard and other libraries can borrow them for a limited time. You may not be able to take the standard out of the library but a lot can be achieved with a photocopier or digital camera.

Hi,

due to copyrights I unfortunately cannot give you a copy of this norm, but you may purchase it (for about 35 U$) at the same company I do: www.global.ihs.com / Phone (US) 800 854 7179 or 303 397 7956 / global@ihs.com.

Good luck!

Cosme
