Mitsubishi Ethernet Card Problem

05/23/2011 12:06 AM

The issue we are encountering is that in the Mitsubishi Ethernet card QJ71E71 SD LED does not blink or flash. We cannot even ping the Ethernet card.

According to the manual of the Ethernet card the causes of [SD] LED does not flash at data sending are:

1. [ERR] or [COM.ERR] LED turns on

a. Remove the factors that turn on the [ERR] or [COM. ERR] LED - I think we can skip this for a while since the [ERR] LED does not turn on

2. Poor cable connection

a. Check the connection of the cable - I have conducted a confirmation of the completion for the initial processing and check whether or not there is any problem in the cable connection and the Ethernet lines:

i. Performed Loop Check - OK

ii. Performed PING test - NOT OK

3. Program reviewing is required

a. Review the sequence program for sending - we can fairly say that there is no issue on the program since we are using the global program for the converter line.

Can anybody from the group share their insights regarding this?
