CORROSION ALLOWANCE

06/07/2011 11:54 AM

Whether we need to consider the CORROSION ALLOWANCE by calculating the Gas suppression system in fire fighting....? (In the GALVANISED PIPE)

If it is then how much we need to consider....?

Whether it is specified in any of the clause....?

Do the needful at earliest.

I normally do what's needed in the morning.

What on earth are you talking about?

Corrosion allowance usually applies to water filled fire suppression systems.

If you are asking about corrosion in systems filled with dry inert gas, perhaps look a bit harder at what 'dry' and 'inert' mean.

Might be an idea to look at operating pressure too.
