Wet/Dry Instrument Calibrator

If we want to test the liquid and winding temperature gauges accuracy, do we use dry or wet block calibrator?

could any one post a drawing how to calibrate or a web link that I could learn more

Better is to use oil bath. In this one, well will be oil filled. It is getting heated and the temperature of oil is displayed on the calibrator.

Then you immerse your gauge sensor part into it and leave it some time for satbilization of the reading.

Then find the error by comparing both readings.
