35 MW Turbine 505 Governor

When rolling, turbine reached 500 rpm. By mistake it come to manual mode and rpm not raised even after its hold time completion. (Rated speed is 3000 rpm ). I have tripped the turbine and restarted rolling to reach rated rpm.

My question

How to raise the speed in auto-mode without tripping the turbine.

Guessing a little, you have a Woodward on a steam unit.

The programming of the 505 would have been specific to your make of machine. Best to check with your vendor/supplier/contractor.

Experimenting with your programming can change performance such that it would be detrimental to machine. Governor is tailored to machine NOT vice versa.
