DC Ground Fault Computation

06/30/2011 3:25 AM

I am interested in the topic of DC ground fault.

Does any one here could show the formula in computing the following:

1. DC line to ground resistance? i.e. pos - ground and neg - ground

2. Acceptable resistance or international standard for 125VDC terminal to ground resistance

thanks...

Look to your local standards, the DC will be the same as the AC minimum requirements. Earth return paths may have to be bolstered up for DC.
