Green Laser Sensors

What are comercially available sensors (detectors) for new green lasers >5mW?Thanks,

I would suggest a Power Meter. Most could handle 5 mW green lasers. Here is a link to one:

I found it by doing a search on Globalspec for "Optical Power Meters"

Are you trying to measure output power or just detect the presence of light. If the later, most any photo-diode or photo-transistor would probably work. There's really nothing that special about 532nm green light.

You can purchase filters that are well tuned to pass only 532nm light. Put one of these in front of your detector and you're ready to go.
