Can anyone please shed some light on CO2 scrubbing technology, please. Are there any websites that can give any details of design, etc. I am looking to learn about CO2 scrubbing for a bio ethanol plant.
Are you trying to REMOVE the CO2 from a gas stream, or CLEAN the CO2 by removing other gases or solid particles? Commercially, CO2 is removed using a basic wash for the gas stream, such as mixed ethanolamines. A lot depends on the VOLUME of CO2 that you are talking about - a few cubic meters an hour or a 10,000 cu m per hour.
