what are the steps of synchro check for transmission line connected to grid?

The synch-check relay determines the condition of synchronization of the both side of the feeders and take the decision to allow closing the breaker. A synch-check relay first checks the voltage difference, frequency difference and the phase angle between the both side of the feeder. If these values are within the pre-setting values of the relay, the synch-check relay allows closing the breaker, otherwise it prevents the closing.
