Bio-mass Gasification Technology

08/08/2011 6:38 PM

I'm looking for knowledgeable people, groups, or existing enterprise with "Bio-mass Gasification" experience. I have both domestic and third world contacts with interest in this technology. I also have possible funding sources for viable projects and technology. No one seems to have time to mess with 50 to 200 mW Gasification Power Plants. Would prefer someone with interest in a "BOO" Business Model. Would also prefer Principals not Brokers. Please, serious players only.

Thanks, RFH 8.8.11

Hi Just saw your note

I own a consultancy company that specialises in biomasgasification of agro/forestry feedstock and have built and operated my own systems. I have worked for and with others in the industry in various applications of combustion, activation and electrical and thermal power generation.

My company is based in the Austral-SW Pacific area and I have a fabrication base in China where we are almost ready to introduce a modular plug and play- portable/lightweight biomass gasifier that will run a gas generator or rankine steam generator or both together.

I design and build systems for and with with- my Chinese partner in all sizes from 25kW to 25MW and can advise on which fuel stock to match which system -

also have associates who specialise in carbon credit finance who always tell me there is a lot of money around to finance biomass gas projects - but no no viable projects that will qualify for funding- no one org/co seems to have an affordable overall user-friendly reliable product or grasp of the technology or industry- from a smaller sized commercial aspect- I build to Aus standards at Chinese prices- we use leading edge technolgy and materials - we manage to save heaps on labor and material working near Shanghai-

You can contact me at my email address thru this site registry- I am a registered member

I am also working on storing syngas in carbon as well as BMTL - biomass to liquid where we condense the gas into liquid "green diesel" that can be used more for transport needs rather than power.

Contact me for further details, fotos and prices

Hello Fred Howard,

You may find some more information on www.miombo.no or can also see what they have developed re Biomass Gasifier Stoves on www.pekope.no

The 'Pekope' stove was developed by Paul Wendbo as a solution to a problem in Uganda and was very successful. They have been right at the forefront of development re biomass gasification stoves and have won many awards worldwide.

These Youtube links may also give you an insight into the 'Pekope' stove development:
