Welcome to this site.

Following some years of experience with UV potting of electronics, I can assure you that you DO NOT want to go through UV potting application!!!!!

The materials are expensive, messy, generally poisonous, messy, contaminate contact surfaces, messy, difficult to handle, difficult to make them stay where you put them until they cure, messy, have storage issues regarding temperature cycle, totally stuff up your heat dissipation from the electronics, are extremely difficult to apply consistently, totally stuff up any chance of inspection or repair work, have horrible process control for placement consistency and that's just teh issues related to getting it onto the product.

Curing is another process that's a @#$^$%^ at the best of times and masking of interface connections is horribly difficult.

If there is any reasonable way to avoid this process, then do so.

The costs associated with a design that does not need UV cure potting will look miniscule when you start the potting process. The capital cost of ovens and the ongoing labour cost per item manufactured (increased piece handling) running costs for the equipment, inspection of potted parts for correct coverage (and masking)material cost for the potting compounds and cleaning materials will be your nightmare for the duration of the project.

However, if it's too late for that, then there are some ideas and good international suppliers available.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure the UV material has some UV fluorescent pigment in it so that inspection can be done using a low intensity UV lamp. (There's one hint for you already.) This makes inspection easy.

Again, welcome to the forum and I hope your future visits are not such challenging items.
