Info About Grid Tie Inverter GSG-5KSL-TW

Dear CR4 members,

A friend of mine ordered this inverter in China, together with Solar Panels. As I understood there was not a lot of information available to order from and we thought it would come with a clear installation manual.

This was a big disappointment: 10 pages text in Chinese Language only.

Googling this type shows a different package as we received, though I think it might be the same product in a newer body.

The connections are also marked in English and on some parts inside I found dates like 12/7/2011 and 5/5/2011, that makes me think it is a new model.

It has the usual connectors: +,- for 16 panels in series, 2 Line outputs, a neuter output (all with automatic breakers) and a ground. It works for 220 VAC /50 Hz, but probably also for 120 or 240 Volts/60 Hz. The power is up to 5kW.

My Chinese is. (non existent.)

But from the "old ?" model I find almost nothing too. There is also a CD ROM that doesn't open or install on whatever computer I try with.

There is an interface and display on the unit. Here a few pictures.

If you can help me to unveil this beauty, I will appreciate it a lot.
