Steel eqivalent of saph 440

What is the canadian or American Equivalent of Saph 440 steel? Is it 1018 steel or 1030 or what! Please help?

i have the same question

this is the chemical composition of SAPH440

C 0.15

Si 0.17

Mn 1.02

S 0.011

Cr 0.004

Ni 0.02

Mo 0.009

Cu 0.03

Va 0.003

Ti 0.001

Co 0.002

Al 0.03

So anyone can help ?

we currently use 060XF HSLA as an equivalent to SAPH440. the tensile strength is a bit lower, but the performance is similar.

This chemistry lines up with AISI 1117. It is a commonly available USA steel gradethat is very machinable.

I am sorry. I incorrectly identified the chemistry as 1117 previously. It is actually similar to AISI 1513. The difference between these two steels is the sulfur content/machinability.
