It is told that dual-SIM cellphones create more radiation problems, affecting health. Can some experts throw light on the authenticity of this statement?

Google "cell phone radiation".

Radiation damage is the result of prolonged, repeated exposure to a radiation source.

Same as X-rays.

My opinion is that using a cell phone IN MODERATION will not cause any lasting harm, for at least the first 20 years.

Er, no. A gentle correction, to put that canard to bed.

. X-rays = high energy photons = breaking molecules, definitely no good

microwaves = low energy photons = at worst, heating

Cellphones work at low microwaves, at the 10-100milliWatts average level.

And for those still fretting, park your phone over your well developed gluteus maximus and use wired or wireless earpieces in the high microwatts range. And chat away to your heart content.

I hope, the readership internalized the difference between watts (peak cellphone output, worst case), milliWatts (average output), microWatts (earpieces, average). Do not iust believe it. Pop the battery in the cellphone, and earpiece, and calculate the average power based on the known talk time on one charge. You will get, what I got.

What SIM module has to do with the power stage's output is beyond me. The cellphone radiation is a dead horse beaten dead too, on previous threads.

Depending on if it's an active dual-SIM phone (both SIM connections working simultaneously) or a normal phone modified as standby dual-SIM phone with an adapter, there may be some all-round radiation increase (depends on conditions but effectively about double) on the first type. On the second type you just select on phone menu which connection is active. S.M.

In the last 20 years the wireless phone usage has increased from a couple of thousand man-hours per year to a couple of trillion man-hours per year. During the same interval the incidence of brain cancer increased by a percent or two, and even that is attributed mainly to improved diagnostics.

However it has been noted that the average IQ of teenagers has declined at an alarming rate;o)))

Sir i think sunlight is having more radiation than cellphone.Guess your biggest organ covert light energy to electrical energy.Radiation power from a cellphone is less than that.

You may google [now it is verb in internet diction] but I have some research not professional but as technologist that the radiation from front was measured and found un-measureable.

The front secreen glass is a very special type of fiter for the cooking range spectrum.

You may have noticed in Radiographic Labs heavily 'Lead" ["Pb"] loaded glass screens to filter out X-Rays.

Anyhow you can never say anything perfactly protection.

Always aviod or keep at a distance ... behavior.
