RTG Cranes for Container Handling Terminals

10/03/2011 7:25 AM

There is rising trend to use shore power for Rubber Tyre Gantry Cranes (eRTG) at the container handling terminals.

Kindly let me know what type of power supply; DC or AC (single or 3 phase) is in use and what is the voltage level at the substation meant for eRTG.

Here a link to a company doing conversions.

As to the gantry cranes, what is the diesel-electric generator voltage/current output at max load?

Number of units your converting?

This is but a couple of questions.

This is all I can help with.
