how does the third harmonic get suppressed in this case?

btw where did that third harmonic come from?

adding a 3rd delta winding to transformer, the 3rd harmonic component of voltage in delta will add up, causing a circulating current flow within the winding. This will supress the 3rd harmonic component of voltage.
