	This is pretty cool: http://singularityhub.com/2010/04/05/5-axis-robot-carves-metal-like-butter-video/ I could do that! With about 200 setups. And a bunch of die grinder work. 	Too true The shock here is you think it's somehow new. Perhaps this is why the investment in (imported) machinery is rising in the US, yet jobs aren't. Trick is with that is; how did they hold the second set up? Didn't show you that, did they. Can you work out how it is done? __________________ There is no sin except stupidity. 	It looks like they made a holder, if you look closely. The video doesnt pretend to be realtime, unedited. And no, I don't think this level of machining is completely new, so you can turn off your shock. My only claim is that its a cool video.
