Perkins Generator Not Getting Change Date & Time

Hi to all my respected friends,,

Does anyone knows I have problem in my genset control panel its not getting change date&time now recent date is 1-1 in this date if I want to start my genset its running in full speed but recently in 2 second its stop... but if we get 2-1 date and if we start its run good there"s no prob but another day again its comes 1-1 date pls help out how I change date or time in control panel setting I check but I could not found any setting for date or time

Is there any sensor for date and time please if any 1 has a pic of the sensor or any tips please helppppppppp

It would be really helpful if you could provide a model number on the generator set. Do you have an operator's manual for the unit?

This is very peculiar to have a genset control panel that controls the operation of the genset according to a Date&time schedule!?

In any case, there must be a backup battery inside the control panel that might need changing/replacing, or some other energy storing device like a memory capacitor that is faulty and needs replacement. This might be linked to some maintenance period, warning and stopping the unit (very surprising ... usually it would be giving just an indicator for the job!).
