Cl corrosion for carbon steel

Dear experienced friend,

I am new working in oil industry and trying to determine whether carbon steel could be used in a aquase envionment containing 4500 ppm Cl-, temperature 90-100C and pH 8. It is appreciated very much if any one could help.

You can expect a serious corrosion problem!

Possibly if you plated it in something to offer it some protection (which may not last either).

What's the application.
