Cybelec DNC60 Problem

11/15/2011 11:15 PM

Greetings CR4 Contributors.

A customer of ours has a problem with his DNC 60 Control for his backgauge on a pressbrake. The fault displayed on the DNC60 is "Variat 2"

This has something to do with the "Variator OK" input not present.

Anyone come across this fault before?

Thanks and Best Regards

Joe

I am not sure of the term Variator but you may want to look at the ram leveling devices. We had one that prevented operation until set correctly.

Hi Rockyscience

I have found out that the fault "Variator" means that the amplifer is not ready for action, that is the DC Drive Controller.

This means that the DC Drive Controller needs to be repaired. So since I have no service information on the Cybelec 712-25-160-020-13 Drive Amplifer I will have to send it over to the other side of the world for servicing.

Thanks for you assistance.

Best Regards

Joe
