Google Contextural Gmail Gadget

11/20/2011 8:43 AM

Hi,

I'm attempting to learn how to create a Gmail contextual gadget. I started with the Hello World example but I have not been able to make it work. When the gadget is working it will display Hello World in a small box at the bottom of a gmail message whenever the words Hello World are present in the Subject and/or Body of the message

There only appears to be two documents required; a manifest and a gadget spec. I created both of them and I need some help determining which one or both need to be corrected.

Thanks for any assistance.

SolarEagle,

I'm sure I can get some new ideas here.

Thanks,

SolarEagle,

I did find two of my errors but the gadget still does not work.

What I need is someone to look at the code I am using and tell me what is wrong or possibly what I left out.

I have been a Volunteer for 22 years in the Atlanta Chapter of SCORE(R) that Mentors for FREE small businesses and start ups. I am trying to automate the Clients request for Mentoring that we receive via an email message.

If there is anyone out there that can help I would sincerely appreciate it.
