I think it's less than 20. I was offline for a few weeks and not only got locked out but was informed that my screen name was "not on file". Had to contact admin for help. I thought that you guys voted me out in absentia

You simply hit the limit for posting. There are limits in place for certain site actions. They help prevent a lot of spam from flooding the site, for example.

This would be the forum equivalent of "running off at the mouth too much".

Yeah, that doesn't seem to be a sound strategy...and it's blocking the spam killers from doing their job....a 20 clip round runs out quickly in a shooting war....
