I am doing research in fatigue crack growth in dissimilar welded joints. If i know the people who are all experts in this field then it will be useful to me to have discussion with them.

Could any one help me?

You might at least wait a day.

I'm not even a novice in welding but right now it does not sound like you're doing any research at all. Your two posts only show your needs and very little of your knowledge on fatigue cracks. If you post a little of what you've learned, you just might convince somebody to help you.

You might read "Welded Structures" by Koichi Masubuchi ISBN 0-08-022714-7. 633 pages on the subject. Please let us know what you learn.

This is one of major topic in the field I am not sure what the discussion you are interested in With two dissimilar metal the fatigue is depended on 1. Metal crystal structure 2. Interface metal chemistry. 3. If interface is crystalline then fatigue is depended on dislocation creation, propagation and pining rate 4. If interface is glassy then the wetting behavior, young modulus and short range order of glass and list keeps growing if you share more than I can help you out more

Contact Structural Dynamics Research Corp. in Cincinnati Ohio. I used to work with Dr. Klosterman from that company, but I don't know if he is still with them. SDRC had extensive software for measuring fatigue life, and crack propagation.
