AutoCAD, MS Word, and Mime Docs

04/30/2007 10:25 PM

How do I copy a sketch of design problem i need help with?

i have AutoCAD (DWG) and i can transcribe it to MSN WORD, but this server says it is a Mime doc. and won't let it load.

Any other methods?

Thanks,

Netmaker

With the AutoCAD *.dwg file open you can hold "Shift" and press "Print Screen" to take a screen shot of your sketch. From there, open MS Paint (or equivalent) and paste the screen shot. You can then save the file as a Bitmap or JPEG.

It seems that the folks who sign in as guests are the folks who make dumb comments like this one.

"turn cannibal humans are two a penny".

You can also select any or all of the drawing then Ctrl-C (copy) and Ctrl-V (paste) them directly into any MS program.

Try the command JPGOUT.

The file it creates can be inserted into Word doc.

Maybe if you can trascribe it to a "pdf" format (acrobat reader) and insert as an image in word it might help

Hope this will help..
