Central Splitter/Filters

01/01/2012 2:49 PM

I've got a faulty, hard wired Central Splitter/Filter, namely a "1000 ADSL LP" by Alcatel.

My question is can I change this for a common or garden, matchbox size filter/splitter.

Thanks Norm.

Yes you can. The 1000 is usually used at demarc points. The configuration on the 1000 is as follows: Left 2 terminals: to DSL modem. Center 2 terminals: phone line in. Right 2 terminals: to Telephones. Hope this helps!
