Hydraulic Hose with Shield

05/02/2007 3:36 PM

I'm looking for a hydraulic hose that has a shield over it. It's to protect the person from possible fluid injection. The shield would only have to cover the first 3-4 ft. of the hose.Do they make anything like this?

I know Parker, and Gates make a additional covering. Look under wear resident covering.

No Matter where you are a air hose of larger diameter can be slipped over the hydraulic hose. This solution is easier, more cost effective than hose covers.

A similar blog was muted only in the last week........

My response is the same as the last guests, fit a larger bore clear /braided PVC hose over and keep in place with hose clips. Cheap and effective!!
