Arc Flash Analysis per NFPA 70E Standard

01/18/2012 9:15 AM

Greetings, Our company is in the process of implementing the Arc Flash Standards as required by NFPA 70. I'm responsible for the gathering of this information to which i have just begun by posting here.

Short of hiring an engineer at the sum of $8k to do an analysis is there a resource that we can wrap our heads around and safely implement this standard ourselves.

Any direction will be greatly appreciated

Bruce

I just ordered the software. It saved us $8000 in engineering fees as well as a number of other costs ($K's) associated with analysis, documentation and labeling.

Much appreciated!
