Thank you. I knew that. I am ordering unrecorded modules that cannot be recorded by the recipient of the card. I want to put a personal message on them before I send them but don't want to buy the more expensive record it yourself modules. The unrecorded are available for as low as $0.25 each and the record yourself modules start at $1.50. Since we are going to do thousands of the messages I am going to need the device that is used by commercial greeting card companies to put prerecorded messages on the module.

Look to where ever you get the sound modules. They should have equipment available to record on them. The few I have examine have different connectors on them. So your not going to find a fit all.

I appreciate your comments. However, I contacted several companies that make the recording modules. They will not sell the recorder to me. I am going to have to do it another way. That is why I need some help with this project.

Can't you just send an email with an attachment?

If a greeting card is appropriate, then an email is definitely NOT appropriate.

I cannot remember the last time I ever received a greeting card. With sound or otherwise.

I was surprised that there was still enough of a market for a manufacturer to even bother making them.

I'm curious as to what the greeting and the message(s) are...... undetectable broadcasting of a trigger phrase perhaps?

As big as a ripoff as cards are, it's better than being reminded of every time you didn't get her one.

Touch and feel are not the same. You can feel without touching. If some one stabs you in you back with a knife you would certainly feel it but you would not be touching it. Touch is a tactile event and feeling is the nervous system's reaction to the tactile event.
