Fireproofing

Hi all, they weld bolt on ibeam before fireproofing what was the use of bolt? Regards

i think the bolts would prevent the fire proofing from flaking off on painted beams.

i should have said, to prevent the fire proofing from flaking off a major structural support in the event of a fire.
