Fluke Pressure Calibrator

03/07/2012 11:32 PM

I was thinking of purchasing a Fluke 718EX 300G, for basic field pressure calibrations. I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with this particular instrument and found it to be adequate? I have used other less integrated calibrators (e.g, DRUCK), that can be quite cumbersome in the field, especially considering the versatility they provide. Also, if you're aware of any other product that has similar functionality, I'd be interested to get your opinions.

I purchased the 718 for us to calibrate our various pressure and differential transmitters in our foundry. It is by far the easiest and most durable unit that we have found. I did not purchase the EX version though but it is pretty much identical. It is so nice to have the built in pump unit, one less tool my men have to carry around.

In fluke 718EX 300G, I could not find the loop power supply for transmitters.

If you are buying DPI 610PC IS, 300 psi you can also get 24V loop power supply. It will make your work easy.
