Importance of Peak Torque

Every Motor has Peak Torque,

what is the importance of Peak Torque in Motor? &

What is the added advantage if i select a motor which has higher peak Torque?

hoping for any white paper or research report or Any link....

why do you not do search. Homework is against CR4 rule. I will give you reference, if it is against CR4 rule, this question should be locked or deleted. Anyway,

Motor peak torque is the highest torque that can be generated by a motor. It is called the breakdown torque or pullout torque (point C). If a motor is running with full load torque (point D) and the additional mechanical load is applied to the motor, it keeps running with a small decrease in speed. Let's assume the motor doesn't have the overload protection and more additional mechanical load is applied, what will happen then? The motor keeps running unless the load torque is less than the motor breakdown torque. If load torque exceeds the motor breakdown torque, the motor is no longer able to run and eventually it stalls.

The motor generally operates above point E and below point C. The operating point depends on the motor load. Note the difference of speed between point C and E is small and that is why the change of motor speed is not significant with the increase of mechanical load.
