Friend,

I may recommend you two possibilities:

1.- Use only the tag plate (SS) with the complete name attached to the instrument with stainles steel wire

and, plus

2.- In the tag name put only the loop number ex: 0224 or function, ex: PDZIT and in the section of the instrument called MESSAGE put the complete tag, I dont remember very good but in this section you can write a great number of text.

Why you not try this?

exp : xxPZIT....... put the tag without the symbol - (XX-PZIT-) use this xxPZIT it is a simple solution.

thanks..after PZIT have 3 more number...exp : xxPZITxxx...still not enough...its ok,i already made a report about that and let top management settle that matter...thanks JP...
