Sounds like the start of a Limerick to me

An ISO consultant in Pune
ate peas from his plate with a spoon
for then it was a cert'
they'd not fall in the dirt
Or roll round the floor of his room

That doesn't rhyme. Pune is pronounced pun-eh, so the limerick should be:

An ISO consultant in Pune
ate peas from his plate with a spoona
for then it was a cert'
they'd not fall in the dirt
Or roll round the floor of his rooma

A cod Italian accent would help.

I can't manage a cod accent, but I have a slight haddock, maybe an asprin would help?

i'll bite as the Americans say.... lets have it!

There was a young man from Devizes
who's balls were of different sizes
one was so small it was no ball at all
but the other won numerous prizes!

(It works equally well for a lady and her womanly attributes)
I once visited Devizes purely on the strength of the sound of it!

Of course, it is like pilgrimage !!! If i ever visit the UK again, i will go there too.....

PMSL The only rhyme I could think of was "Assizes"...

Thank you for your kind words regarding my earlier limerick. Rereading I think the second line should read "Who enjoyed a good roll in the hay" to scan properly.

Ironically on Saturday, I listened to a radio programme on nonsense writing!
