I was wondering if the phisical location of a filter in substation would affect intermediate feeders located between the main source of harmonics and the filter feeder. For instance, a Converter (HVDC) is feeded from a diameter and the filter is located in a separate diameter. Will we have a fair level of harmonics coming out of the Converter and harmonic current will tend to circulate in the substation to reach the corresponding filters?
Should we minimize the electrical and physical distance between Converter and filter connection points ?
