Directional Sensitive Earth Fault vs Non Directional

Dear All,

We are using 7sj6025 numerical overcurrent relay on our HT Panels. In its catalogue we find directional sensitive earth fault and non directional sensitive earth fault. Can any body having experience on it tell us the difference between the two terms.

its is very simple

directional that means it has a pre-define direction.it will operate when satisfied 2 two condition

condition 1: current should be at trip level

condition 2:direction should be as defined ( forward or reverse which was defined in relay)

non direction that means it has no direction it will operate when satisfied one condition

condition 1: current should be at trip level
