RTC Mounting Procedure

Dear all,

I want to know how RTC mount on pcb's.Because we want to change the RTC component for every 3 yeras,so we want to go by base mounting.So it is reliable or not,Pls suggest to us.

What do you mean by RTC a Real Time Clock? if yes, get a dill type socket version.

otherwise let us know what you mean by RTC

Or a ZIF socket.
