Nanofiber vs. Nanotube & Difference in Chemical Bonding

05/17/2012 11:46 AM

I'd like to speak w/someone on this subject regarding bonding adherence & expectations w/these two structures.I get the theory but lack the chemistry background to know if what I'd like to produce is possible. Looking @ manufacture & possible patents in light weight PPD. I've been told that what I envision is possible, but not sure how to proceed w/out great expense @ the start. Hate to just throw money @ an idea if I don't know if it really has merit. Have looked far & wide for answers and have been either misunderstood or I've been asked to pay a substantial fee for "tutoring". Any real comments or direction would be greatly appreciated. Am located in Mpls area of USA.

Thanks,

Steve

Without knowing what you're up to it's hard to say.

Maybe some reading?

Scholarly articles for nanofiber/nanotube research
Opinions abound here. Facts, backed up by research, may be harder to find.No offense to any members.

PPD? Maybe its meaning should be clear, but I am drawing a blank.

Personal protection device.

Having communicated with OP, I leave it to him to elaborate any further.
