E1 & E2 to Serial

Can everyone said the difference between E1 to Serial and Ethernet to serial, thanks for your help

Hello Cathy!

One of the biggest differences is the data transfer rate.

E1 is a coaxial cable at 2 Mb/s, compared to ethernet at 10/100 Mb/s

Well, E1 is used for things like voice phone calls, and E2 is used for computers, etc.

There are certainly a lot more applications of each, try just searching around the web for applications, and you'll be certain to hit more
