Cab Tilt Design

i want to start a whole new concept for cab tilt mechanism other than the regular mechanic and hyraulic system,if any one has any suggestions plz help

I mean the truck cab tilt system to allow the cab to be tilted out of the way of the engine.

Two words - "Bungee cord"

What ideas have you got so far for this new concept you are thinking of?

Remember they have to offer serious benefits over the existing designs including cost if they have any chance of being adopted (if this is what you are trying to do).
