Heater Tubes

I am bidding for tender with my associates for rehabilitation of a heater. I will be replacing 62Nr 141.3mm OD A335-p5 pipes .

I will need to do hardness test and post weld test on the surface of the welds. ps what equipment do I need for these?

Hardness tester for hardness test and DPT/RT for post weld test on the surface of the welds.

thanks for the advice.

we have been doing retubing of heaters.

since we are not aware of the pipe material specifications, we wanted to have experts advice reg hardness test , dpt/rt.

There are many vendors that offer NDE, hardness testing, and PWHT that would be glad to do that part of the work. Have you performed a PQR? Wrote a qualified WPS? You should not bid on a job that you are qualified for.
