06/16/2012 2:24 PM

Hello! I am looking for a standard that specifies spacing of control cables and power cables in HV substations. Any help?

You should be first looking for the standard that applies to the location of this installation. Once you find out which standard applies then you or your corporation will likely have to pay for access to this standard. Then comes the phase of trying to comprehend and interpret the standard and how it applies at this particular location. Along the way one may or may not have to deal with licensing, post graduate training and bureaucratic inspection.

Now what did you want to know for free?

Here in India we follow IS 1255 which specifies a clearance of 300mm between Power Cables & Control Cables.
