Spiral Wound Gasket Centering Ring and Inner Ring

Dear all, I have just received spiral wound gasket, centering ring of gasket has weld joint Can we make an acceptance for this gasket with weld joint mentioned, can anyone explain where to refer for acceptance criteria Thanks & regards, Ciak Gui

The inner ring and outer ring does not effect the design of flange. These are necessary to hold the gasket seating area. Hence, I believe this can be accepted.
