A fellow in the grounds maintenance industry wants to use one motor oil in both his diesel and gasoline engines and has been told that he would want to use 15W/40 in both and that the only draw back would be to loose gas economy.

Is this true? If so, how does he loose the fuel economy in a gasoline engine?

What are your thoughts...W.C.

Never mind the economy. He might lose the engine, Flossie. Tell him to stop being a prat or he's up for capability the next time there's a jobs review.
