Hello everyone, I was trying to perform a FEA(using ANSYS) of a heat exchanger expansion joint following RCB 8 of TEMA. Now to determine spring rate to be applied, I need a parameter "Axial load(F axial)" as described in RCB-8.42. But I don't know exactly value and calculation method. Can anybody kindly guide me?
