07/12/2012 6:39 AM

Dear All

May be this question got discussed for many times still i am asking with kind apology

I need to how we consider nominal thickness for shell, head and nozzle as governing thickness for UCS-66 or in other words what should be the governing thickness of shell/head/nozzle as individual parts per UCS-66

UCS-66 does not govern thicknesses. You need to look at the UG sections.

UCS-66 governs MDMT of the metal and impact testing.

Best thing to do is get a copy of the code and read through it.
